R142b gas cylinder, full name difluoromonochloroethane (difluorochloroethane), chemical formula CH3CF2Cl, CAS number 75-68-3, is a widely evaluated refrigerant in the industrial field. The product is a colorless gas with a slight aromatic smell at room temperature. It is supplied as a colorless transparent liquid under pressurized conditions. It has low toxicity, is insoluble in water, easy to use and consumes some organic solvents. It has stable chemical properties and does not react with metals, acids, and oxidation at room temperature and pressure. As a second-generation hydrochlorocarbon (HCFCs) refrigerant, it is mainly used in refrigeration systems under high temperature environments, such as high-temperature air conditioners and heat pumps. It is not only an important component of a variety of mixed refrigerants, but also an intermediate for plastic (plastic) foaming, thermostatic control switches and aviation propellants. In addition, it is also an important raw material for the production of vinylidene fluoride (VDF) and other formaldehyde products. Vinylidene fluoride can be obtained through oxygen, HCl removal, stretching, distillation and other processes, and further polymerized to obtain polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), which is a product engineering plastic with excellent mechanical properties, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and aging resistance. R142b gas cans are usually packaged in intermittent or refillable cylinders and ISO storage tanks to ensure safe storage and transportation of the product. During storage and transportation, the warehouse must be kept ventilated, low temperature and dry, with a large number of spare shelves to avoid common specifications such as 10kg, 20kg, etc. The working pressure range is approximately 1.5 - 2.5MPa, and the working mixing temperature range is - 40°C to 60°C; wear protective equipment when using, such as protective gloves, goggles, etc., avoid operating in high temperature environments, and check whether the device has leaks before use.
