R507 is an azeotropic refrigerant mixed with HFC-125 and HFC-143a in a ratio of 1:1. It is designed for medium and low temperature industrial refrigeration systems and is suitable for cold storage, food freezing production lines, petrochemical industrial cooling equipment and cold chain transportation. Its ozone depletion potential (ODP) is 0, which meets the environmental protection requirements of the Montreal Protocol, but its global warming potential (GWP) is relatively high (about 3900-3985). The standard evaporation temperature is -46.7°C, the critical pressure is 3.7MPa, and the critical temperature is 70.9°C. It can operate stably in the range of -50°C to -30°C. The refrigeration efficiency is better than R404A and close to R502812. This refrigerant is compatible with polyester (POE) or alkylbenzene (AB) refrigeration oil. Lubricants such as EMKARATE RL32H and ICEMATIC SW220 are recommended. Avoid mixing with mineral oil. In industrial applications, a double valve group anti-leakage system is required. During operation, pressure monitoring (recommended working pressure ≤ 3.94MPa) and inert gas specifications must be strictly followed. Store in a cool and ventilated environment (temperature <30°C), away from ignition sources. Compared with R502, R507 has a lower compressor exhaust temperature and a higher unit volumetric cooling capacity, but it should be noted that its non-azeotropic characteristics may cause changes in the composition ratio after leakage.
